The Journal of Behavioral and Applied
Management (JBAM ISSN 1930 0158) is the completely on-line
academic publication of the Institute of Behavioral and Applied
Management (IBAM). IBAM created the Journal to provide an international
outlet for its contributors and members in support of its mission.
That mission states: "The rigor associated with the pursuit
of academic excellence, coupled with the experience of practicing
managers, provides the foundation for the Institute of Behavioral
and Applied Management (IBAM). While stressing the importance
of a culturally diverse membership base, IBAM provides a forum
for the presentation, discussion, and publication of papers
submitted by academics, practitioners and students. IBAM emphasizes
the continuing development of academics, practitioners, and
students."
The Institute of Behavioral and Applied
Management began publication of the Journal in 1999. Currently
three editions are published each year in September, January,
and May. All current and past editions can be reached from
the Table of Contents.
